Audit Coordinator, Data Audit Group [Full-time, Exempt, Remote]
Location: Remote
The Audit Coordinator will be granted growth opportunities and will be allowed to function as an Audit Lead on a limited basis with significant oversight. Responsibilities:
- Project
- Project management support for audit engagements from inception to closure on day-to-day basis
- Accountable for audit tasks assigned for all aspects of audit and work plans: timeframe, milestones, and reports
- Work with audit stakeholders to fulfill audit work plans activities, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timeline to identify when each task will be completed ensuring audit is completed on time and on budge
- Identify and raise any issues for Audit Lead/ team to resolve during audit life cycle
- Effectively monitor status of all audit tasks, deliverables and advise audit manager of any significant variations
- Responsible for supporting Audit Lead with audit oversight activities including tracking and reporting on audit milestones and providing status report(s) to client
- Perform proper project open and close down procedures and that audit documentation is appropriately archived upon project completion
- Serve as audit lead on a limited basis as assigned
- Team
- Responsible for communicating status / updates for assigned activities to audit team members and stakeholders
- Actively participate with audit team members on a proactive basis for successful outcomes
- Serve in other project specific roles (i.e. audit lead) as necessary
- Act with professionalism with colleagues and clients
- Client
- Act as an intermediary between client, stakeholders and team members as assigned
- Other areas
- Additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 2-3 years’ work experience in project management, healthcare, operations, auditing, compliance and or consulting
Salary range
$50,000 – $55,000
Attributes and interpersonal skills
- Experience assisting with execution of all project management phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure
- Effective time management for assisting in projects including prioritizing, planning, and organizing to ensure projects reach completion on time
- Concise/clear communication (written and verbal), good problem solving, analytical skills and customer service skills
- Making the best efforts to complete work within scope and timeline parameters as prescribed by lead auditors
- Success being adaptable in a multi-faceted role in a fast-paced environment
- Experience identifying problems
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality internally and externally
Technical skills:
- Familiarity with project management software tools
