John Gottwald is responsible for development and growth of ATTAC Consulting Group’s (ACG) core client service segments and assuring that ACG’s solutions are responsive to constantly evolving industry and regulatory trends and client needs for solutions in operations excellence, auditing and compliance.  In addition, John serves as the key liaison to ACG’s clients assuring that our solutions are tailored to deliver the expected ROI to our clients.

Prior to joining ATTAC Consulting Group, John served in leadership capacities with other consultancies serving both the healthcare and automotive industries in operations excellence including implementation of Six Sigma and Lean strategies.  He previously served as Vice President of OPTUM Consulting as a National Business Development and Client Delivery leader. While at OPTUM, he also led various business improvement and operations excellence engagements that focused on redesign of business processes and technology implementation along with engagements to identify opportunities for health plan growth, financial performance and total cost of care (MLR) improvement.

John also previously served as Director, Business Process Improvement at WellCare, Inc., where among other initiatives guided process improvement initiatives within Utilization Management, Appeals management, Regulatory Affairs and Claims operations.

He holds a Masters in Finance from Walsh College and Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Michigan State University.
