Kim is a seasoned professional with a clinical background and experience in Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Managed Care programs. Her expertise includes administrating a health plan for the State of Arizona for the Division of Disabilities, development and integration of a behavioral and physical healthcare contract and oversight of Medical Management and Utilization Management. She has participated in VBID project design and implementation of hospice and wellness projects including review, selection of proposals, entity selection, new policies and procedures, and complete program descriptions. She has an extensive quality background including STARS, HEDIS strategy and implementation for Medicare Advantage and Medicaid programs. Kim was the interim quality director for Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Federally Qualified Health Centers. She’s prepared Model of Care reviews and new MOC written documentation with policy and procedures to implement new plans. Her background includes an RN degree, MBA in Healthcare Management, MSN in informatics, MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner . She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Healthcare Administration in Quality Analytics.
