John Gottwald is responsible for the development and growth of ATTAC Consulting Group’s core client service segments. He helps ensure that the firm’s solutions are responsive to constantly evolving industry and regulatory trends, as well as our clients’ operational excellence, auditing and compliance needs. John also serves as the key liaison to ensure ATTAC’s solutions are tailored to deliver expected ROI to clients.
John served as Vice President for OPTUM Payer Consulting as a national business development and client delivery leader. While at OPTUM, he led various business improvement and operations excellence engagements that focused on redesign of business processes and technology implementation, along with engagements to identify opportunities for health plan growth, financial performance and total cost-of-care (MLR) improvement.
As Director of Sales & Marketing in a business-process improvement role with WellCare, Inc., he guided process improvement initiatives within sales, marketing and compliance, including a CMS sanction remediation.
He holds a Master of Finance from Walsh College and Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Michigan State University.
