Chhaya Surti, PharmD, MJ, is a seasoned pharmacist consultant with extensive experience in health plan operations. In her role with ATTAC, Chhaya leverages her pharmaceutical expertise to provide strategic guidance, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and optimize operational efficiency.
Prior to ATTAC, she worked with Cigna and CVS Caremark in leadership roles to direct Part D audits, FDR compliance, PBM oversight, and clinical affairs. At SXC Health Solutions (now part of UnitedHealth Group), Chhaya was the clinical operations director for prior authorization and utilization management, overseeing a center with more than 100 pharmacy technicians and clinical pharmacists.
She has led the development of clinical protocols, customized client processes, and provided consultative support to internal and external clients. Additionally, she has contributed to innovative clinical product enhancements, enabling solutions that align with URAC, NCQA, and CMS standards.
