Kevin Barbee

Sr. Vice President, Business Transformation

Kevin Barbee is a healthcare executive who has served as a strategic advisor and thought leader. He has supported crucial business transformation initiatives and major programmatic and technology implementations for premier national insurers, health plans and provider organizations.

Kevin’s leadership and 30 years of experience spans diverse engagements. He guided the development of the multi-year technical strategic plan for a major regional Blue Cross Blue Shield plan; he conducted operational and technological assessments at a Blue affiliate to support implementation of Medicaid programs; and he led a $100 million, multi-year implementation of major clinical systems for a chain of hospitals.  

Across these initiatives, Kevin demonstrated consistent ability to guide organizations in the application of technology to reduce administrative costs, substantially enhance organizational efficiency, and achieve and maximize technology investments.

Under Kevin’s leadership, ATTAC’s Business Transformation and Operations teams deliver seasoned project management and subject-matter experts to support business operations engineering and technology strategy development. The team also specializes in program and technology implementation, delivering cost-effective, tangible results and return on investment.

Kevin has held leadership roles at Ernst and Young and Deloitte, and served as the leader of major implementation teams for technology organizations including Perot Systems and McKesson Corporation.

He is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Business Control Systems. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
